Gorilla Attacks Zoo Visitor
Gorilla Attacks Zoo Visitor
Zoo officials are responding to an incident in which a visitor was attacked by a gorilla.
The attack occurred at around 2:15 p.m. when the gorilla, identified as Binky, left its enclosure and approached a man who was sitting near the edge of the exhibit. Witnesses say that the gorilla then grabbed the man by his shirt and threw him to the ground, after which it began to stomp on him.
Zoo personnel responded quickly, using pepper spray and a tranquilizer gun to bring the gorilla under control. The man was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are said to be non-life-threatening.
This is not the first time that Binky has exhibited aggressive behavior; in March of this year, the gorilla caused minor injuries to two visitors who had climbed into its enclosure.
Binky is one of four gorillas who live at the zoo; officials say that he will be placed in quarantine while an investigation into the attack is conducted.
Gorilla on the Loose in London!
A gorilla is on the loose in London and the city is in a panic! The gorilla, who has been named "Gerry", was last seen scaling a building in the heart of the city. Animal experts say that Gerry is likely just trying to find a new home and is not dangerous, but the public is not taking any chances.
One eyewitness described the scene as "utter chaos". People were running in all directions and screaming for help. Traffic was at a standstill as drivers tried to avoid the animal. The police have set up a perimeter around the area and are using loudspeakers to try and coax Gerry back into captivity.
So far, Gerry has shown no signs of wanting to return to his cage. He has been spotted perched on top of a building, swinging from lampposts, and even wading in a river. Authorities say that they do not want to shoot Gerry but they may be forced to if he continues to roam the city streets.
This is not the first time that a gorilla has escaped from its enclosure. In 2009, another gorilla named "Harry" made headlines when he escaped from his pen at London Zoo. Harry was recaptured within hours and returned to his home, but officials are taking no chances this time around.
The public is advised to stay away from Gerry if they see him and to call police immediately if he is spotted. This hairy menace is sure to cause more trouble before he is finally caught!

Gorilla Found Living in The Jungle of Brazil
In a shocking discovery, a live gorilla was found living in the jungle of Brazil. This is the first time a live gorilla has been spotted in Brazil in over 30 years.
The gorilla was found by a team of researchers who were conducting a study on howler monkeys in the area. Upon seeing the gorilla, the team was amazed and quickly took pictures and video of the rare animal.
The gorilla, who is estimated to be around 10 years old, is said to be in good health and appears to be adapting well to its new environment. Researchers are unsure as to how the gorilla arrived in Brazil, but they are currently investigating the matter.
This discovery is a major event for zoologists and scientists who have been searching for gorillas in Brazil for many years. It is also exciting news for conservationists who are working to protect this endangered species.
With only 400-600 gorillas remaining in the wild, every member of this species is important. Hopefully, this new discovery will help raise awareness about the importance of protecting gorillas and their natural habitats.
Gorilla Escape! Zookeeper Battles to Keep Beast From Escaping
In a scene reminiscent of a Hollywood blockbuster, a gorilla broke out of its enclosure at the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago on Saturday.
The 400-pound animal was spotted by visitors on the loose inside the zoo about 9:30 a.m. CT, according to the zoo's Twitter account.
The AlertStatus system was immediately triggered and zoo staff began investigating.
"This is not a drill," the zoo tweeted as it informed visitors of the escape.
Fortunately, the gorilla was located and tranquilized within an hour of being on the loose, according to NBC Chicago.
The Brookfield Zoo said in a statement that there was never any danger to the public and that this was "an isolated incident."
A spokeswoman for the zoo told ABC News that this is the first time a gorilla has ever escaped from its enclosure.
According to CBS Chicago, zoo officials believe the gorilla, named Moke, may have jumped over the wall of his enclosure. Moke is about 14 years old and has been at Brookfield Zoo since he was born.
Zoo officials are investigating how Moke managed to escape and are reviewing security footage to see if there was any negligence on their part.
